The Award & Frame Shop is a family owned and operated business. Started nearly 30 years ago by a then active Col in the U.S. Army as an art store, the natural progression was to start framing the art they sold. As the word spread the art store became The Award & Frame Company. 

The family ran the operation for almost 20 years before selling the business to another family that brought in Darryl and Tricia to run the business and expand the offerings by adding apparel printing and embroidery to the growing items that are produced.

With Darryl and Tricia at the helm they weathered the pandemic and even added a new store on Ft. Lee in the main PX concourse. The store on the military base brings items closer to the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines that Ft. Lee trains. 

Darryl and Tricia are proud to be recognized as a Small Woman and Veteran owned business. We work with the local chambers of commerce in Colonial Heights and Prince George County, Virginia.
